We are excited to be working with the social media coordinators from all teams. We've seen a lot of action from teams already in the last month, and we appreciate it - keep up the great work!
This post will be a mix of content/ideas/suggestions for the 2022 season. We will provide links to marketing assets and include any new ideas for teams to take advantage of. We are here to help you succeed, both in terms of your commitments/opportunities to VC and also as a team in general - send us your ideas for feedback at any time!

This is a PUL-created checklist that can help you keep track of your activities on an ongoing basis. You are responsible for reporting your activities to VC for credit, either through this document or one that you've created yourselves.

Specific Cases/Opportunities
Announcement: VC as your 2022 Exclusive Official Uniform Partner
Initial Announcement: Newsletter mention and social media shoutout across all platforms (minimum 3 different social media platforms), including link to VC website (www.vcultimate.com).
Content ideas: Team photo in uniforms, team photo with VC logo overlayed, replica promo image (to be provided by VC by March 10th)
1-2 weeks later: ICYMI announcement + shop link*: newsletter + social (*example shop link: https://www.vcultimate.com/collections/portland-rising)
Player Sponsor Program
This is YOUR team/player fundraiser. We’re doing our best to facilitate/coach based on our experience, but the success comes from it being Of/From/For the players. Given the size of the fundraiser, we’d suggest this being a huge focus for teams and the league to have plans for.
- VC will provide “web mocks” for each team – 3D front/back images of each jersey.
- VC will provide 1 promo image for each team – front/back of jersey, nice background, PSP logo
- VC will provide some images for PUL-wide promotion including all PSP jerseys
Due to the design demands of the actual PSP jerseys, VC will not likely provide marketing materials until launch day.

March 7th: Get ready: the Premier Ultimate League PSP launches tomorrow at 4pm ET!
March 8th AM: Only x more hours until ultimate's biggest event of the year!
March 8th 4pm ET: Announcement and link sharing.
VC Logo Use
We've seen all types of versions of our logo used in different materials, which we appreciate and also want to clean up! Please only use these logo versions in your promotional materials and socials.
Need a copy of the VC logo? Here's the correct file to use on a black background, or on a white background, or with a transparent background. You may use our vector logo for inclusion in your own designs, but please do not modify it in any way or otherwise use it without receiving approval first.
Tips / Resources
Post scheduling/planning
We use the really basic Facebook Business Suite posting and planning tools for both posts and stories, for Facebook and Instagram. This is a super effective way to make sure the things you have to post about get done.
Spend an hour or two per week setting up the next week's posts to ensure you have the basic content required to stay active and relevant.
Twitter also has a schedule tool... and this way you can go back and check for typos before your post publishes!
