Social Media Checklist
In order to help teams keep track of the social media and marketing commitments outlined in our original agreement, the VC team designed a checklist for team representatives to use on a weekly, or at the very least monthly, basis.
The results were mixed in terms of who used it and who didn't and for how long, so we wanted to check in to see how we could improve this system of task reminders/responsibilities and check-ins.
In the comments below, or via email to Jess, can you please share your experience using the checklist?
- Did you find it user-friendly?
- Was having the list of To Dos in one place useful?
- Were the prompts/template suggestions for posts utilized? If not, why not?
Team-specific Sheets
Finally, most teams didn't actually used the team-specific tracking lists... we do check and have filled in information ourselves.
- Reasons for why this didn't work?
- Suggestions for improvement?
Our hope was that these sheets would be seen as a useful tool and that each team's checklist was "ticked off" after each relevant post, or updated on a bi-monthly basis.
Moving Forward
Consistent marketing is essential for the VC-PUL partnership to be effective, and it is 100% mutually beneficial! We are here to help make this as easy as possible for teams, but it does require a concerted effort from all parties.
Let's iron out the best way to move forward and make 2021 the best year yet, together!

Hello, i found the file useful and easy to understand. I think we didn’t use it because at some point i thought it was going to be filled by VC, something like the confirmation that you checked the post we made (sorry for the confusion)…but we do have a media plan where we post frequently about VC…..also the dates of the season are still there, that hasn’t been updated…so it feels like the file is not being used anymore.
Also thanks for this blog, is useful to understand everything better
