2020 Team Uniform Marketing Opportunity
Team uniform orders are what enables VC to be a community-supporting, year-round business, instead of operating only in spring and summer. Every year has its challenges given the strong competition in the ultimate apparel market, but 2020 has hit especially hard – season cancellations have caused a loss of over 95% of our custom business.
However, we are still committed to supporting our community and fighting for social justice and gender and racial equality at every opportunity.
How can you help?
Your team is composed of players who have influence on other teams they coach or play with; as such, your players' endorsement of VC as the best option for uniforms is priceless.
We're asking you to encourage your players to suggest and/or support the choice of VC as a uniform supplier for non-PUL teams they are associated with (college, beach or fun tournaments, club, league, etc).
Opportunities for Additional Credits
This is a really easy initiative as we hope your players love their VC apparel as much as they want to support your team – and receive a great offer at the same time!
$400 per team: Commitment to implement PUL-suggested initiative of pro-VC uniform offer messaging sent to all players with Jess (VC sale rep) cc’ed on all communication (players can be bcc’ed at the team’s discretion).
VC will offer any PUL player the opportunity to redeem the equivalent of PUL’s 35% discount towards any custom order of VC uniforms for their team throughout the end of 2020.
The 35% shall be broken up as follows:
- Discount to the ordering team: 25% discount on any custom apparel VC offers.
- Credit back to the player's PUL team: 10% of the total order amount will be credited to the team for use in 2021 on non-uniform additional custom apparel orders (warmup, tights, hats, etc).

This is a special promotion to encourage multiple new teams to purchase VC uniforms next year due to our direct engagement. Players are also welcome to contact local disc organizations via their team(s) in order to disseminate the offer.

Hi folks,
I wanted to suggest talking to VC Ultimate about our uniforms for this year. VC outfitted the PUL as well as produced all the Player Sponsorship Program jerseys this past year, and the fit and quality are great.
Here are a few reasons why I think we should choose VC:
1. Great apparel
VC works hard to be thoughtful and inclusive in their fit/sizing, including their non-binary line. Their jerseys are also made from recycled fabric.
2. Great deal.
VC is offering us a 25% discount, just because our team has a PUL player on it. VC will also give my PUL team a 10% commission credit to use for the 2021 season. We can support the PUL just by ordering VC!
3. Free samples and design.
The VC team will send out free samples required for sizing, and offers the first few hours of design work at no charge. They also have online ordering, team stores, fundraising programs, etc.
VC is THE company in the ultimate market who really supports important initiatives, including the fight for social justice and racial and gender equity; they also give a portion of every revenue dollar back to the community.
Finally, VC needs our help! The more we can support them, the more they can do to support ultimate around the world... especially in a year like 2020 where over 95% of their custom order revenue was lost due to cancelled seasons.
